Unit System: CGS Gaussian Units System

Description: Gaussian units constitute a metric system of physical units. This system is the most common of the several electromagnetic unit systems based on cgs (centimetre–gram–second) units. It is also called the Gaussian unit system, Gaussian-cgs units, or often just cgs units.[1] The term "cgs units" is ambiguous and therefore to be avoided if possible: cgs contains within it several conflicting sets of electromagnetism units, not just Gaussian units.

Unit Description Type
ampere The ampere, often shortened to 'amp', is the SI unit of electric current and is one of the seven SI base units. SI Base
ampere hour An ampere-hour or amp-hour (symbol: A⋅h or A h; often simplified as Ah) is a unit of electric charge, having dimensions of electric current multiplied by time, equal to the charge transferred by a steady current of one ampere flowing for one hour, or 3,600 coulombs. SI Derived
ampere square meter Unit of magnetic dipole moment SI Coherent Derived
millicoulomb unit of electric charge SI Derived
